What is the ICT Register?
The ICT Register is a unique resource of innovative practice about all aspects of learning with technology and it is freely available for schools around the world. It is operated by the Specialist schools and Academies Trust in partnership with Becta.
Currently, there are 631 schools and learning centres from all phases highlighting their strengths and offering support and advice via the ICT Register.

Congratulations to Burghley, you have won the house cup again - that's three times in a row.
Mufti day in aid of Haiti a huge success.
The staff and students raised a grand total of over £1133 for the Haiti appeal on our non-uniform day.

Option Evening
We had a fantastic turn out at the year 8 and 9 option evening. Handouts from the evening are attached along with the power point presentation from the year 7 and 8 option evening earlier this year.
School starts at 8:35am

As from Monday 25th January the school gate will be shut at 8:35am. Any students arriving after this time will serve a lunchtime detention on the same day.

Hatton Students in International Education Campaign
Once again students at Sir Christopher Hatton took part in the International campaign to remind governments across the world about their promise to ensure that all young people receive a primary school education by 2015.

Every Child Matters Day
Our main focus in the final term has been the exciting Every Child Matters Day for Year 9, which took place on July 8th 2009.

Darwin Day
Darwin Day is on Monday 13th for the year 7 students.

The 2009 Rockfest was a huge success with 220 audience member watching an amazing array of musical talent, from both existing and past students from the school.

Waedel Gym Success!!!
Year 11 Girls get into shape in the latest 'go' programme (Fitness Industry Association)in partnership with Waendel Gym to get our 15-yr-old girls active. The aim is to challenge girls to make healthy lifestyle choices which they will take into adulthood.
