Results for 2019
2019 was another record breaking year for Sir Christopher Hatton Academy. The Progress 8 score (the main accountability measure for schools) achieved by students at the academy, increased significantly from the 2018 score of +0.75, which had already placed the academy in the top 3% of school nationally for progress, as well as the highest achieving school in regards to progress in the county.
The percentage of students achieving both English and Maths at grade 4 and above has increased to 77%. The percentage of students achieving both subjects at the more challenging grade 5, has also increased significantly to 55%.
Students achieved fantastic results across a broad range of subjects, with the following students achieving the pinnacle of eight or more GCSEs at grades 9-7:
Harry McWilliam, Ciara Usher, Pacey Gwinne, Milan Pancholi, Callista Quadling, Ryan Talbot, Neha Dholakia, Rebecca Molloy, Julia Olos, Jeremy Owusu Boamah, Jodie Rice, Siabonn Sheppey, Bryn Swain, Edward Swain, Shiv Dhanji, Aliya Hussain, Tanatswa Lucas, Tarun Mistry.
In addition, the following students achieved an exceptional grade 9 in three or more subjects:
