  • Supplementary Information Form (ICT Aptitude Test):
    Deadline – Thursday 2nd October 2025 (4.00pm)

  • Open Week Tours:
    Monday 29th September – Thursday 16th October 2025
    Bookings open Monday 22nd September 2025

  • Year 6 Information Evenings:
    Monday 6th October & Tuesday 7th October 2025

  • Application Deadline:
    Thursday 31st October 2025 (midnight)

  2. Complete your application
    Applications must be submitted to North Northamptonshire Council by Thursday 31st October 2025 (midnight).

  3. ICT Aptitude Test (optional)
    If your child wishes to take the test, you must complete the Supplementary Information Form by Thursday 2nd October 2025 (4.00pm).

  4. Prepare

Year 7 September 2026 Appeals Information

Information about allocated Year 7 school places for September 2026 will be sent out by the local authority on Monday 2nd March 2026.

If you have not been allocated a place at Sir Christopher Hatton Academy at this time, you have the right to appeal against the decision.

All appeals will take place online. To submit an appeal, please refer to the Guidance Notes for Parents for further information. Should you decide to proceed with an appeal, you must complete the notice of appeal form via the following link.

Deadline for lodging an appeal – Friday 24th April midday.

The Appeal's Administrator will send notification of the hearing (date and time) and the statement of case directly to the appellants' week commencing 11th May 2026.

Deadline for appellants to submit additional evidence – Friday 22nd May. Please note that the panel may not be prepared to accept any additional evidence that is submitted after this date. Additional evidence can be emailed to admissions@hattonacademy.org.uk.

Proposed dates of appeal – Stage 1 & 2, will take place during the week commencing 15th June 2026. The specific details will be confirmed by the Appeal's Administrator once final numbers have been determined.

Appeals made after the deadline are at risk of not being heard before the start of the September term. Hearings will be subject to when the late appeal was made.
