Sir Christopher Hatton Academy is celebrating the achievements of its Sixth Form students following the publication of this year’s A Level results, with students securing places at leading universities, apprenticeships and employment destinations across the country.

Results Day marked an important milestone for the Class of 2026, following two years of hard work, determination and commitment. Staff at the Academy were delighted to welcome students back to celebrate their achievements and hear about the exciting next steps they will now be taking.

Among those celebrating are students progressing to some of the UK’s leading universities, including Imperial College London, the University of Warwick, Durham University, the University of Bristol and the University of Birmingham.

Notable student achievements include:

  • Andrew Dankyi – A*, A, B – University of Bristol to study Aerospace Engineering
  • Hilary Thai – A, A, A – Durham University to study Modern Languages and Cultures
  • Kacper Cieslak – A*, A, A, B – University of Liverpool to study Aerospace Engineering
  • George Rumney – A*, A*, B – University of Derby to study Psychology and English
  • Poppy Wingrove – A*, A, B, B – University of Liverpool to study Communication, Media and Politics

Mr N Salisbury and Mr A Mitchell, Co-Principals of Sir Christopher Hatton Academy, said:

“We would like to congratulate all of our students on their achievements and the hard work, focus and determination they have shown throughout their time at Sir Christopher Hatton Academy. This cohort has contributed enormously to the wider life of the Academy, and we are incredibly proud of all they have achieved and the way they have represented our Academy community.

We would also like to thank our dedicated staff for the support, encouragement and guidance they have given our students throughout their studies, as well as our families for their continued support. As our students take their next steps, we wish them every success for the future and look forward to hearing about all they go on to achieve.”
