Key Stage 3 Curriculum Details:

At Key Stage 3, students study Design and Technology on a rotation basis. Students will study modules in the following areas: Cooking and Nutrition, Product Design and Textiles. Students are assessed in each module and all areas are reported on. Students usually have 8-9 weeks per module with two lessons per week.

Key Stage 4 Curriculum Details:

At Key Stage 4, the department offers a number of different options to suit the needs of all our learners. Subjects studied include GCSE Product Design, and BTEC Art and Design qualifications with a Textiles and Resistant Materials focus. Please note the exact options available to students will vary.

Key Stage 5 Curriculum Details:

At Key Stage 5, the Department offers Product Design. Product Design encompasses all areas of design and students usually enter this course having studied Graphics or Resistant Materials at GCSE.
