Assessment:
- Component 1 coursework– Devising (group performance in the style of a practitioner, stimulated by a text, plus individual written coursework) - 40%
- Component 2 practical exam – Text in Performance (two extracts in total, taken from two contrasting plays: one group piece and one of a choice of monologue or duologue)   - 20%
- Component 3 written exam -  Theatre Makers in Practice:  Section A ‘Live Theatre Evaluation’ of a live performance; Section B ‘Practical Exploration of a Set Text’ as a designer or performer; Section C ‘Director’s Conceptualisation (of a second set text) in the style of a practitioner – 40%
